Actress Avery Kristen Pohl is known for playing the villainous Esme Prince on the ABC daytime drama "General Hospital."

For her acting work as Esme, Pohl has been nominated for two "Soap Hub Awards" for "Favorite Newcomer" and "Favorite General Hospital Actress."

Her favorite series to binge are “Schitt’s Creek” and “Friends.” “Those are probably my most-watched series,” she admitted.

Pohl’s all-time favorite movie is “Mean Girls.”

“I have watched it an embarrassing number of times. I know every joke and still laugh out loud. It takes a really great script and performance for something to stay funny even when the element of surprise is gone,” she said.

“I also really enjoy ‘The Favourite,’ ‘My Cousin Vinny,’ and Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri,” she added.

When asked about her favorite music, she disclosed, “Right now, I have Noah Kahan’s new album on repeat! My musical taste is a bit all over the place. I would say alternative music from 2013 is probably still my favorite (if I had to get specific).”

She listed Viola Davis and Margot Robbie as her dream acting partners in the entertainment business.

Hobbies

On her favorite hobbies, she shared, “I really like to stay active in whatever way I can. Now that I am not in school, I have really enjoyed reading again. I didn't always have the time so noe that I do it it has been a fun thing to go back to.

Any Alternate Career Choice

If Pohl weren’t in the entertainment business, she noted that she would probably work in either real estate or the medical industry.
