Emmy Award-winning actress Patrika Darbo will host the 13th Annual Indie Series Awards on April 12 at The Colony Theatre in Burbank, producers announced on Wednesday. This will be the fourth time Darbo has hosted or co-hosted the event, which celebrates the best in scripted entertainment for the web.
"Patrika is a Hollywood legend and always brings down the house," said ISAs producer Roger Newcomb. "We couldn't be more excited to work with her again."
Darbo is a Primetime Emmy and Indie Series Award- winning actress and multiple Daytime Emmy nominee who has worked in film and television for four decades. Most recently she is known for her fan favorite roles on daytime dramas Days of Our Lives and The Bold and The Beautiful. In primetime, the former Television Academy Governor was a series regular on the sitcom Step By Step and had recurring and guest-starring roles on Desperate Housewives, Devious Maids, Seinfeld, Dexter, The Big Bang Theory, The Middle, Roseanne and countless other popular series.
