The next Hidden Figures is coming. In the same vein of showing intelligent and exciting women doing extraordinary things in history, Writer/Producer Sarah Megan Thomas (Equity, Backwards) and Director/Producer Lydia Dean Pilcher (Queen of Katwe) are beginning principle photography on an as yet untitled movie about three females spies that were part of "Churchill's Secret Army" in World War II. Though the film is fiction, it is based on actual stories and extensive research done by Thomas.
One of these female agents, Vera Atkins is widely regarded in history and the most well-known. This film also centers around two other agents that worked for her as spies, Virginia Hall, who the Nazi's dubbed "the most dangerous of all" and who did this all with a wooden leg, and Noor Inayat Khan, who was the first female wireless operator and whose family has Indian roots. The story, written by Thomas tells the tale of the dangerous missions they pursued in war-torn Europe.

Actress Stana Katic plays Virginia Hall. She is best known as Kate from Castle also appears on Amazon's Absentia. Sarah Megan Thomas plays Vera Atkins. Radhika Apte, a rising star from Bollywood, who most recently appeared in the film Padman, plays Khan. Linus Roache (Homeland, Vikings) and Rossif Sutherland of the Sutherland acting family (Catastrophe, River) are also set as major characters in this film.
