Bergen County Court-Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) is an organization that provides one-on-one advocates to abused and neglected children in Bergen County after they are removed from their homes. This organization finds these volunteers, trains them, and then assigns them to these needy children. Bergen CASA also provides these kids with the little extras they may never have gotten, birthday gifts, holiday presents, school supplies, and sometimes even a prom dress!

Bergen CASA has been selected as one of the top 200 finalists in the State Farm Neighborhood Assist Grant Program. The top 40 vote getters get $25,000. This money will go a very long way in helping these neglected children in Bergen County.

All you have to do to help is to vote on Facebook. You can vote once a day, ten times in a row. It's easy. Last day to vote is June 3rd, so start now!

Bergen County Emmy-winner and spokesperson Martha Byrne adds, "It takes less than a minute of your time each day, but if we win the potential help it can provide to a child is enormous. Please consider voting, everyday!"
