Michael Park Joins All-Star Cast of Katonah (New York) Classic Stage's Presentation In Collaboration with the Stepping Stones Foundation of "Bill and Lois In Their Own Words" - The Story of Alcoholics Anonymous

Katonah, NY – Katonah Classic Stage (KCS), Westchester County’s premiere professional theatre company dedicated to classic plays, is joining forces with The Stepping Stones Foundation to produce Bill and Lois in Their Own Words, an intimate and powerful theatrical portrait of two lives that changed the course of history. 

Told through their own words from The Stepping Stones Archive, the play traces Bill and Lois Wilson’s relationship from the spark of young love, through Bill’s 17-year struggle with alcoholism, to his transformative recovery and the cofounding of Alcoholics Anonymous.

Michael Park (Broadway: Redwood, Dear Evan Hansen, Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, and Tuck Everlasting; TV: Stranger Things, As the World Turns, Law & Order(s)  joins an all-star cast, including John Bedford Lloyd, Anne Twomey, and Peggy J Scott, who will portray “Older Bill” and “Older Lois,” on different evenings and offer depth and reflection shaped by years of lived experience. They will be joined by two "younger" actors, Lea DiMarchi and Leon Schwendener, who bring vitality and urgency to the roles of “Younger Lois” and “Younger Bill.”

This production is directed by Trent Dawson, Artistic Director, Katonah Classic Stage, from the play compiled by Laurie Heffner-Lewis. The 111-minute plus intermission production is made from the Wilsons’ personal writings preserved in the Stepping Stones Archive, bringing authenticity and emotional resonance to this compelling story of love, resilience, and redemption.
