Visions and Pathways, New Jersey’s first private non-profit youth shelter dedicated to supporting at-risk youth in New Jersey, is excited to announce its 2nd Annual Golf Outing, scheduled for Monday, September 8th, 2025, at the Basking Ridge Country Club at 185 Madisonville Rd. in Basking Ridge, NJ.
The charity event aims to raise crucial funds for the organization’s Bridge House Capital Campaign, “FORE” our Youth! which seeks to build a 10-unit affordable housing project for young adults transitioning out of foster care, experiencing homelessness, or facing similar challenging circumstances. The day will kick off at 10:00 AM with breakfast and registration, followed by a shotgun start at noon. Golfers will enjoy 18 holes of golf, green fees and carts included, and on-course contests. A cocktail hour and buffet dinner will begin at 5:00 PM, accompanied by a tricky tray, Super 50/50 raffle and awards ceremony.
Participation options are as follows:
- Foursome: $1,400
- Single Golfer: $350
- Dinner Only: $150
All golf registrations include green fees, carts, the option to participate in on-course contests, a cocktail hour, and a buffet breakfast and dinner. Two-time heavyweight boxing champion Shannon "The Cannon" Briggs, a motivational icon and advocate for youth facing homelessness and addiction, will be joining the golf outing. Briggs, known for his rallying cry "Let's Go Champ!", embodies resilience and uses his platform to inspire the next generation, making his presence a powerful addition to our event.
“We are incredibly excited for our second annual golf outing, an event that directly supports our vision of providing a safe and stable environment for young people in need,” said David Walker, CEO/Executive Director of Visions & Pathways. “The Bridge House project is vital for empowering those youth to build independent and successful futures. We are currently $1 million away from our fundraising goal, and every swing helps us get closer to making this essential housing a reality.”
