Veteran actress and singer Tia Carrere stars as Mrs. Kekoa is new live-action Disney movie "Lilo & Stitch."
She got her first big break as a regular on the daytime soap opera "General Hospital." Carrere played Cassandra Wong in the feature films "Wayne's World" and "Wayne's World 2," as well as Juno Skinner in "True Lies," Nani Pelekai in the "Lilo & Stitch" movies and Cha Cha, in "Curb Your Enthusiasm." Carrere also appeared as a contestant in the second season of "Dancing with the Stars" and the fifth season of "The Celebrity Apprentice." In addition to acting, Carrere has won two Grammy Awards for her music. She shared 11 interesting and exciting things about herself.

Her favorite movies are "Thelma & Louise" and "Blade Runner" “I love these two movies; they are very different, and it’s incredible to me that they are both done by Ridley Scott,” she said.

Her favorite series to binge are “Squid Game” and “You” (about the serial killer and murder mayhem).
“I devoured Squid Game, even though it is very dark,” she admitted. “A great piece of art always brings up all these great questions for ourselves as we look at our world.”

On her favorite sports to watch and to play, she said, “I love basketball and football, perhaps because they are linear.”
“Football is very easy to digest on TV,” she said. “I love the Super Bowl and the championships of basketball.”

Her favorite cheat meal is “Hawaiian food, plate lunch from Hawaii.”
If Tia Cerrere Could Have a Superpower...
When asked about her superpower of choice, she revealed, “I would love to teleport to see my family in two seconds, and I would go to Hawaii. I wish we could have some sort of teleportation device.”
Favorite Motto to Live By
Her favorite motto to live is the following: "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you," which is a well-known ethical principle, often referred to as the “Golden Rule.”
The Best Advice She Has Ever Been Given
Regarding the best advice she has ever been given, she shared, "Sean Connery once said, 'When you walk into a room, with your head held high, and your shoulders thrown back, you look like you belong there.' So, it’s all about posture.” “It’s true,” she admitted.
What Tia Carerre Says is the Best Thing About Being Her Age
On the best thing about being her age, she said, “Enjoying the journey that I went on to get to this beautiful place.”
“I am so happy right now; my life is so blessed and I am loving everything about it right now,” she said.
Tia's Hobbies (to unwind and relax)
Her hobbies to unwind and relax include “biking up a mountain” as well as “paddleboarding, scuba diving, and swimming in the ocean.”
“I just love this whole adventure of life right now and being active,” she said.
If Tia Carrere Was Not an Actor She Would Be....
Outside of acting, she would be a “singer,” as well as “having a Tiki bar in Hawaii to serve my favorite foods and drinks.”
