Emmy-Nominated actress, CARA BUONO comes to the stage of a Mahwah High School (a half hour from New York City) for an interesting and inspiring conversation along with her old friend Jeff Marchetti ("THE SOPRANOS"). She will share thoughts on some of her most memorable roles including her role as 'Dr. Faye Miller' in "MAD MEN", 'Kelli Moltisanti' in "THE SOPRANOS", 'Gail Carter' in "The Girl from Plainville" and currently as 'Karen Wheeler' in the incredibly popular horror sci-fi NetFlix television series "STRANGER THINGS.
Cara will talk about her career and there will be a question and answer period. The talk came about because Cara is involved in a movie which shot in and around Mahwah. The movie, The Stray, was also produced with the help of Mahwah students.
Money raised through the event will support Mahwah High School scholarships for students involved in art and filmmaking.
The event organizers have hopes that the audience will get inspiration from Cara, as she pursued her dreams even before she was a teenage. They are also encouraging Stranger Things fans to dress as their favorite character.
