Actor Daniel Lissing shared some of his favorite things. A native of Sydney, Australia, he is a recognizable face in many TV movies including Christmas movies.
He starred in the first Great American Family original holiday film called Catering Christmas alongside Merritt Patterson. Lissing is known for his acting work in such GAC Family original movies as The Christmas Star and When Hope Calls Christmas.
He has also been in many movies and series on Hallmark, including The December Bride and is best known for playing Jack Thornton in the series When Calls The Heart. He has also been in TV series such as The Rookie and Last Resort.
On his favorite movies, he said, "That's a tough one because I love so many movies." "I'm a film buff and I have been watching movies with my family since I was a very little kid," he said, prior to revealing that some of his all-time favorite movies include Avatar, Lord of the Rings, Braveheart, and The Shawshank Redemption. "These action-adventure movies excite me and they inspire me," he said.

Lissing's favorite series to binge-watch includes Breaking Bad and Game of Thrones.

If he weren't in entertainment or acting, Lissing would love to do "something with animals or nature" such as "photography in nature."

Lissing revealed that his favorite cheat meal is pizza followed by ice cream.

Superpower of Choice
If he were to have any superpower, it would be "to spontaneously heal people." "I think that would be pretty awesome," he admitted. "My mom went through cancer, and I am doing some fundraising at the moment for a group called A Cause for Entertainment and we are raising money through my cameos, and all of that money goes to breast cancer research."
