Derek Theler is an actor, writer, producer and model. He is best known for his starring role as Danny in the hit sitcom "Baby Daddy" opposite Melissa Peterman (as Bonnie Wheeler in the show). Most recently, Theler stars in the indie horror film "Deadlocked: Dad of the Dead," which was written and directed by Casey Jackson.

On his favorite hobbies to unwind and relax, he said, “I play video games. One of my favorite games I play is Fortnite with my crew after the baby is sleeping. That's a good way for me to chill out and turn my brain off. I'm a gamer too when I get the time.”

On his favorite music, he said, “I like everything. I really like alternate rock right now. That's probably my favorite genre.”
What Derek Says is the Best Thing About Being His Age
On the best thing about being his age, he remarked, “Being a dad for sure. I'm kind of an older dad. I got married late and I have a young boy now, and it’s my favorite stage of life.”
“I'm having a really great time. I like to be providing for my family, and to be there and watch my son grow and see him learn new things. Every day he seems to say something he has never said before, so it's a fun stage,” he elaborated.
What Derek Theler Might Be If He Were Not in Entertainment...
As an alternate career choice, he would love to work in the news. “I would like to be an anchor in the morning news, greeting people every morning, and giving them the news for the day.”
