The amazing and very, very busy Valerie Bertinelli is coming to NJ, at the Carteret Performing Arts and Events Center on April 9, 2026 at 7:30pm. Billed as a "Conversation with Valerie", this talented actress and bestselling author will talk about  her most vulnerable book yet, Getting Naked: The Quiet Work of Becoming Perfectly Imperfect. Tickets are $58 and can be purchased here. Whether you grew up watching Valerie on One Day at a Time, or you know her from her vast array of TV shows and movies, you will hear her talk about her larger than life life as written in her book; and what she as learned through divorce, menopause, and generational pain, and a powerful message of self-acceptance and embracing the past with compassion.

This moderated author talk includes audience Q&A. A copy of the book is included with each paid ticket. Ticket buyers must be present to receive a copy as no books will be shipped.
