Jonathan Jackson is known for playing the role of Lucky Spencer in the ABC soap opera “General Hospital,” the son of supercouple Luke and Laura, which earned him five Daytime Emmy Awards.
Jackson is also known for his roles in the motion pictures “The Deep End of the Ocean,” “Tuck Everlasting,” “Dirty Dancing: Havana Nights,” and “Riding the Bullet,” as well as for starring in the hit TV series “Nashville.
Jackson is also a gifted musician in his own right... and he recently starred in the faith-based movie "Unsung Hero." He went on to reveal some of his favorite things.

He listed "In The Name of The Father" as one of my favorite movies… "it’s an incredible film,” he said. “So is ‘My Left Foot.’ The same holds true with ‘Braveheart’ and ‘The Last of the Mohicans’.”
Favorite Series to Binge
On his favorite series to binge, he said, "'Downtown Abbey' for sure, as well as 'Everybody Loves Raymond,' 'The Middle,' and 'The Office'."
Favorite Motto to Live by
His favorite motto to live by is simply "The Golden rule," which states "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you."
On the Current Stage of His Life
When asked about the title of the current chapter of his life, he shared, “Be grateful and be patient.”
Best thing about Being his Age (42)
On the best thing about being his age, he responded, “At this stage, you’ve been through enough so there aren’t as many anxieties as you’ve had in your 20s… and I feel there is more peace of mind.”
Jonathan Jackson's Favorite Cheat Meal
His favorite cheat meal is an "Oreo Blizzard" from Dairy Queen. “They are fabulous,” he said. “Key lime pie as well.”
Favorite sports to watch and to play
“For the moment, I would say soccer on both ends,” he admitted about his favorite sports to watch and to play.
If Jonathan was not an Actor....
When asked about his alternate career choice, he said, “That’s a tough one because I’ve managed to squeeze in quite a few with my current life,” he said. “It would be teaching, even though I have been teaching at the film school. I love writing music, acting, and teaching. I also like psychology in a sense.”
If He Could Have a Superpower...........
On his superpower of choice, he said with a sweet laugh, “Being able to be invisible would be nice on occasion.”
how He Defines Success
Regarding his definition of the word success, he said, “Orienting my life towards the eternal… and having my relationship with God in an authentic place, and having relationships with my family, that’s success.”
