Actor Kevin Alejandro stars in the CBS drama series “Fire Country,” which had its season finale in May. He is also known for his acting work in such series as “True Blood,” “Arrow” on The CW, “Lucifer,” “Southland,” and “Parenthood.”
Alejandro went on to share nine interesting and fun things about himself.
Favorite movies
In the movies department, Alejandro shared that he is "old-school." "I love the 'Rocky' movies and the stories that they tell. They are about how hard you can get hit and get back up again," he said.
Favorite Series to Binge
Even though he is “late to the party,” he loves binge-watching Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul. “The writing and filmmaking in those shows is amazing,” he noted. “I just finished those and now I want something more.”
Favorite Sports to Play and Watch
Alejandro revealed that his favorite sport to watch is "American football" while his favorite sports to play are "football and running track," both of which he used to play in his youth.
Best Thing About Being the Age He is Now
On the best thing about being his age, he responded, “Just having wider eyes and a bigger spectrum to see the right choices."
"Also, I don’t get stressed out by the little things. As I am older, I am able to take a breath and I am able to organize my thoughts,” he added.
Kevin Alejandro's Favorite Mottos to Live by
On his favorite mottos to live by, he shared, “I like living life to the fullest, and I like to love fully.” “Always follow your dreams, because dreams change, and don’t give up on them,” he said
“Follow what makes you happy,” he admitted.
If Kevin Was not an Actor....
“I would love to be a musician even though I don’t have any musical talent,” he said with a sweet laugh.
“I would probably be a builder or construction worker since I’m good with my hands,” he added.
Favorite Cheat Meal
His favorite cheat meal is "Carne Asada Burrito."
If He Could Have a Superpower....
If Alejandro were to have any superpower, it would be “to create a different lens that people see through in order to see a positive outlook on things.”
“We are in a time where people need to have empathy,” he said.
Favorite Music
When asked about his favorite music, he said, “I just love anything that takes me on a journey.”
