Actor and model Gilles Marini is known for his acting work in such television shows as Brothers & Sisters, Switched at Birth and Devious Maids. He also appeared in "Sex and the City " as Samantha's neighbor.

Marini revealed that his favorite series to binge is "Alone" on the History channel. “It’s about people living alone in places where people don’t normally survive. It’s more of a reality show. It is educational, fun, entertaining, and important for us. Watching this series makes us learn a lot of things, especially survival,” he said.
What Gilles Cheat Meal Is
Even though he doesn't eat carbs, he revealed that his favorite cheat meal is "sushi."
His Favorite Sports to Watch and to Play
His favorite sport to watch and to play is MMA (Mixed martial arts). “I love to practice them and to coach it. I love jiu-jitsu,” he said.
Favorite Hobbies
On his favorite hobbies, he remarked, “I really love to go on an adventure. I like to go with nothing in the middle of the woods and let myself be with the forest."
"That involves danger and it might terminate me. At the same time, it gives my soul peace,” he said.
Favorite Music
When asked about his favorite music, Marini shared, I grew up with Michael Jackson, so he was my Superhero. “Back then, everybody on the planet knew who Michael Jackson was,” he said.

On the best thing about being his age (48), he responded with a sweet laugh, "Realizing that he doesn’t know anything."
If Gilles Marini was Not an Actor....
His alternate career choice would have been a "firefighter." “Doing things for others makes me feel alive; otherwise, I feel useless,” he admitted.
On Writing, Directing and Producing his own Short Film
If he were to write, direct, and produce his own short film, he noted that it would be about his grandmother and what she did during World War II. “Courage is not measured in strength,” he said.
