World's were collidin' as the Colbert of everyday comedy met the Seinfeld of political humor.
The two were spotted recently at the Bluestone Coffee Company, 123 Watchung Avenue in Montclair. It didn't take long for this sighting of these two comedic giants to spark a whirlwind on social media.
Seinfeld was interviewing Colbert, a resident of Montclair, who is the Late Show's new replacement for retiring legend David Letterman. Seinfeld has a webseries called "Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee". For Seinfeld fans it's a rather funny series, or shall I say that if you are a Seinfeld fan of course you will love it. Other figures he has interviewed on the Internet include Larry David, Tina Fey, Louis CK, Kevin Hart, Jimmy Fallon, Amy Schumer, Miranda Sings, and the list goes on.
If at any point in time you get tired of watching reruns of Seinfeld late night, and I know that is impossible because they just get funnier, I mean who can argue with a second-spitter theory or not understand the value of an astronaut pen, watch the episode and then after it is over try turning off the TV and watching his series on your phone, IPAD or computer. Or your TV if you can figure out how to get the Internet on it. Gee, that would make a great Seinfeld episode, Jerry trying to explain to his folks and Morty at Boca Del Vista how to watch the Internet on a TV. "Jerry, why do we need to watch the Internet on a TV, I can't even catch up with my Matlock episodes now." states Dad Seinfeld. Mom adds, "Jerry, your dad took a lot of time just to figure out how to work the DVR. It's not easy for people our age you know, let him be, We don't need that computer stuff on our TV down here, and if he starts doing it it will get all over Boca Vista that he can set it up and I'll never see your father."

Here's an episode with Jimmy Fallon in a blue car.
Sources says that Seinfeld was here doing a commercial. It could not be confirmed that it was a commercial for the series, but considering he came in a car and drank coffee and he is a comedian interviewing a comedian my guess is it has something to do with the series.
The local website, TAP into Montclair, has a full story on it with pictures of the momentous Montclair meeting: https://tapinto.net/towns/montclair/categories/news/articles/jerry-seinfeld-spotted-in-montclair-coffee-shop-i
I just wonder if either of them ordered a big salad after.
