NJ Car Dealer Attempts to Break Guiness World Record: Liberty Suburu Goes for Largest Parade of Suburu Cars and Donates Profits to Cancer Foundation

Record-breaking attempt takes place at Metlife Stadium, June 15th at 8:30am.

There's a record to be set for just about everything these days. And when there is, the Guiness people want to know about it.

On Sunday, June 15th, Liberty Suburu of Emerson will sponsor an event at Metlife
Stadium, Home of the Giants, which will form a giant parade of Suburus around the stadium. All proceeds from the event will benefit the Merkel Cell Carcinoma Research in honor of Colin Johnston. Colin was a beloved Suburu employee who fought this deadly and rare skin cancer with perseverance and a positive outlook, but passed away at 27 years of age.

The current record is held by, no surprise, Suburu of America. Can this NJ dealership beat it? At the time of this article, 373 people have registered according the facebook page. The dealership is expecting a line of cars over 2 miles long in Parking Lot J.

If you would like to participate with your Suburu, there is a $15 participation fee. if you pre-register you will receive an official Liberty Suburu Guiness World Record Attempt T-shirt and a Badge for the event. Pre-registration is suggested as availability is limited day of the event.
