She has starred in Hallmark films, Vanilla Sky, Two Weeks Notice, Last Holiday, Urban Legend, and the thriller 88 Minutes.

She listed sushi as her favorite cheat meal. “I do have sushi occasionally. I am vegan though 98 percent of the time,” she said. “When I crave raw salmon, I go for it, and I am open about that.”

On her favorite sports to watch and to play, Witt said, “I love watching ice skating and gymnastics because I know that in this lifetime, I would never be a skater or a gymnast. I don’t know how they can do that with their bodies, they are so beautiful and disciplined. Those are my favorites.”

For young and aspiring singers and entertainers, she said, “This is a very tough business, if you believe in yourself then don’t ever stop. Then, everyone else would believe in you too. Be prepared to hear a lot of ‘nos,’ but those ‘nos’ will make your stronger.”
Alicia Witt's Pre-show Rituals
Regarding her pre-show rituals, she revealed, “I pray that I will be able to connect to the people that have come to see my show, and to put love out into the world. I drink a lot of water on the day of the show. I drink water all day long because I really want those vocal cords to be hydrated from the inside.”
Her Definition of Success
Witt defined success simply as joy, health, feeling present, as well as enjoying the moments. “Success is also sharing what my music means so that hopefully, other people can be reached by it,” she explained.
