Emma Samms, MBE, is known for playing such popular TV characters as Holly Sutton on the ABC soap opera “General Hospital,” and Fallon Carrington on the ‘80s primetime drama “Dynasty.”
In 2016, she was made a Member of the British Empire (MBE) for her services to charity (especially working with seriously ill and terminal children). In her personal life, she is married to Simon McCoy, a former BBC News broadcaster and journalist.

“Obviously, nothing that I’ve been in because I can’t stand watching myself,” she said with a sweet laugh. “I like ‘The Princess Bride’ because it is magical and charming, and I watch ‘The Holiday’ every Christmas.”

“We just finished Season 1 of ‘Succession’ and we loved it,” she said. “I think it has the best theme song that I’ve ever heard of any show.” She acknowledged that “Succession” feels like a modern-day “Dynasty.”
“We also binge-watched ‘Ted Lasso.’ That was great,” she acknowledged.
On Being a part of ‘Dynasty’
Samms spoke about doing the primetime serial “Dynasty.” “It was a joy and a privilege to work on Dynasty. To have had such a great role on a show with such an enormous, worldwide,” she said. "The cast and crew of ‘Dynasty’ quickly made me feel at home,” she added.

In addition to acting, she serves as the co-founder of the Starlight Children’s Foundation, which provides assistance to families with seriously ill children. She noted that her work with this foundation is the “best thing that she has done in her entire career.”
Starlight Children's Foundation was founded by Emma is 1982. It is on a mission to "delivers happiness to hospitalized kids at over 800 hospitals and medical facilities throughout the US." Serving multiple countries, among all the exemplary work that it does includes providing tangible items such as gowns, laptops, toys and games to the children.
