An Acceptable Loss starring Tika Sumter and Jamie Lee Curtis is making it's way to theaters across the county and on-demand beginning January 18th. This film, written by Colleen Griffen of CorrodaoMooncoin Productions and directed by husband Joe Chappelle (Director Chicago Fire, Fringe, The Wire) is a female-driven political thriller. It is female-driven in that the females are the leads in the movie, and the movie showcases females in positions of power.

Tika Sumter plays Libby, a former top US official with something to hide, and Jamie Lee Curtis who is still part of the US Cabinet out to find out exactly what that is. Ben Tavassoli plays Martin, a student at the college Libby now teaches at, who is key to unraveling what the mystery is. The film is an edge-of-your seat thriller that will entertain and also make you think.

The movie was filmed in various locations in Chicago and Evanston Illinois and nearby locations.
