Event: In Time for the Holidays, Donate to the Nicholas Lauerwald Food Drive for the Center For Food Action or Consider Donating To Any Local Food Bank

Last call to donate food and other needed items to the Center For Food Action in North Jersey. The drive is being held in memory of Nicholas Lauerwald, a Mahwah High School Student who tragically lost his life in a car accident while in high school. As a tribute to his helpful spirit and zest for life the family is hoping others will donate what they can to help those in need. Most wanted items are coffee, hot cereal, hot cocoa, cleaning supplies, toiletries, personal hygiene products, diapers and baby formula and food. Donations can be dropped off at the police station or town hall where he lived in Mahwah, NJ or directly at the Center for Food Action. If you want to donate but do not live in the area, in memory of Nick drive or walk on over to your local food bank and give what you can.
