The Gotham Television Awards will also stream live through TEGNA network affiliates across 51 markets throughout the country. TEGNA streaming apps are available to local audiences on Roku, Amazon Fire TV, and Apple TV.
It was previously announced that Amy Sherman-Palladino and Daniel Palladino, as well as Director Hwang Dong-hyuk will receive Creator Tributes, Elisabeth Moss and the cast of The Handmaid’s Tale will receive the inaugural Ensemble Tribute, Brian Tyree Henry will receive the Performer Tribute, Sheryl Lee Ralph will receive the Sidney Poitier Icon Tribute, David E. Kelley will receive the Visionary Tribute, and Parker Posey will receive the Legend Tribute.
Nominations in the twelve competitive categories include Adolescence, The Pitt, The Studio as well as performances from Kathy Bates, Sterling K. Brown, Ted Danson, Linda Lavin, Cristin Milioti, and Michelle Williams, among others.Also, award-winning actress Parker Posey will receive the inaugural Legend Tribute, in recognition of her storied career, at the Second Annual Gotham Television Awards, taking place live and in person on Monday, June 2nd at Cipriani Wall Street in New York City and livestreaming on Variety’s YouTube channel.
The new Gotham Television Awards Legend Tribute was created to honor television’s most beloved and influential performers. This year’s inaugural Legend Tribute will recognize Posey’s remarkable impact on the industry as she continues to captivate global audiences, most recently with her standout performance in The White Lotus.
