Canadian actor Jake Foy starred in the Hallmark family western series "Ride" as Tuff McMurray, the on-screen son of Nancy Travis (who played Isabel McMurray). This role marked Hallmark's first-ever gay cowboy character. Foy is known for his role as King James in Reign, and for playing Felix Silva in "Designated Survivor."
Most recently, he directed and co-wrote the film "More Together." The synopsis is: After years of best friendship, teenage Tom and Lucy finally surrender to spending the night together. As their new love blossoms, and Lucy’s ‘time of the month’ is late, the pair are forced to face the music of adulthood head-on.

His all-time favorite movies include Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, Titanic, Good Will Hunting and the Golden age musical of Oklahoma! “I go back to that material sometimes out of fondness, and I just love it.”
“Also, I am really looking forward to the fall released of the movie Wicked," he added.

His favorite series to binge is "The Boys" on Amazon Prime.
“This recent reason is moving at a pace that I’m not used to,” he admitted. “I’m a big fan of the first three seasons of the show.”

“Every meal is a cheat meal,” he admitted. “Burgers and pizza, for sure. They’ve been off the menu for a long time.”

His favorite sports are “tennis and kayaking.” “It is really great to get in the water for kayaking,” he said.

When asked about his alternate career choice, he responded, “I would run a Bed & Breakfast in Europe near the water, and never set foot in front of the camera again.”

On the best thing about being his age, he said, “It is nice to meet a young crop of actors. I just worked on a Tubi movie with Noah Beck, and he is really great in it.”

On his favorite mottos to live by, he revealed, “Tell me your hopes, your dreams and your dinner plans, and that’s all I need to know.”
“That’s my favorite motto to live by because you get a sense of what people truly want to do with their lives,” he said. “Also, what they would like to eat later if you hit things off.”
If Jake Foy Could Have a Superpower.....
Foy’s superpower of choice would be to “breathe underwater.” “That’s a solid one,” he admitted. “I would love to swim fast too and breathe underwater.”
Success
Regarding his definition of success, Foy revealed, “Having pride in your work, and the everyday choices you make to get to that place.”
