NY/NJ Area Event: Sea.Hear.Now Festival at Asbury Park Features Bruce Springsteen, Free Activities, Food, Music and More

The Sea.Hear.Now Festival is back in Asbury Park for the sixth time starting on September 14th. The weekend, in the coastal haven on Asbury Park NJ on the Jersey Shore is filled with live music - this year with Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band, Noah Kahn and many more as well as at several iconic venues. There are also a ton of other exhibits and activities to keep you busy, from, professional surfing, boardwalk-wide art activations, yoga and more. The Carousel Art House Exhibition


Wooden Walls Project kicks off festival weekend Friday, September 13th 6-10pm with an opening reception at the historic Carousel House. Join us for the exhibit or anytime throughout the weekend, Saturday + Sunday 12-7pm, to experience the magic of the Wooden Walls Project.

Wolfbat Mask Workshop + Parade


Wooden Walls artist, Wolfbat, returns to kick off Sea.Hear.Now week with his second-annual mask workshop. Experience a week of hard work and creativity by joining in his “March of Medusa” procession starting at the Carousel House Sunday, September 15th.

Sea.Hear.Now Featured Art and Artists


Don’t miss all of the art during Sea.Hear.Now weekend! So many artists of the Wooden Walls will be featured at the festival and at the historic Carousel House.

Dog Days of Summer Fall  


Dogs are officially permitted back on the boardwalk September 15th! Bring your pups and stroll the boards and then head over to Wonder Bar Yappy Hour.

*Open through September, except for festival weekend.

New hours:

MONDAYS: Small dogs 3-6pm

SATURDAY & SUNDAYS: All size dogs 2-6pm

Bark to the Boards at Paws


Save the date for a fun event welcoming back our four-legged friends to the boards. Paws Barkery and Boutique will be hosting this event Sunday, September 22nd. Check back for more details soon!

The music continues into the night at Wonder Bar and Stone Pony. Although Stone Pony shows sold out quickly, you can still catch the Wonder Bar shows.

September Music at Low Dive


Low Dive’s SHN weekend party begins with Ella RossThe Vaughns, and Kiertsen Blue on Friday. Saturday don’t miss a special show with SHN Alum Dentist at 2pm. Stick around for Stringbean and The Boardwalk Social Club and The Boardwalk Boogie with DJ Foggy Notion as they continue their residencies into September.

Philly Pretzel Factory has all the grab and go snacks you will crave this festival weekend and beyond! Visit them in our 1st Avenue Pavilion as you walk down to the festival.

MOGO for Festival Eats

If you miss MOGO Korean Tacos’ pop up on your way in to the festival, fear not! They and a few of our other APB favorites including; Tony’s Sausage and Betty’s Icebox are conveniently located inside the festival as well.Their boardwalk locations and all other businesses on the boardwalk will remain open to the public during the festival and you are able to leave and reenter.
