THE SUSTAIN is an intimate musical about love, relationships and connection in an assisted living facility told through an indie rock score and interwoven stories of its elderly residents, the staff who takes care of them, and the lives they leave behind outside as they start a new chapter.

Pamela Grayson states, "We’ve been developing this musical for a number of years in the TNNY International Musical Writers Lab, and they’ve given us a few readings, and now a developmental workshop. This will be a production, but with some scripts in hand, so more like an Encores-style performance.
