Eric Johnson is a Canadian actor who is known for his acting work in "Smallville" and "Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin."
In the “Fifty Shades” trilogy, Johnson played the nefarious Jack Hyde. Most recently, he starred in “The 13th Wife: Escaping Polygamy” on Lifetime, which was a two-part movie event.
Last year, he starred in the Great American Family holiday film “A Christmas Less Traveled” with Christmas Queen Candace Cameron Bure. Johnson shared 10 interesting and fun things about himself.

On his favorite movies, he said, "I’m a sucker for The Shawshank Redemption... I love that movie more and more every time I see it."
"One of my all-time favorites is Children of Men. Also, I love the original Batman movie. Despite being on 'Smallville,' I’m a Batman fan," he noted. "I was a Disney kid growing up, and I would get the VHS tape for everything".
“That’s all I wanted for my birthday,” he admitted. “I must have seen The Jungle Book about 40 or 50 times, and 'Bambi' probably 20 times.”

His favorite series to binge is "Severance."
“It was really hard waiting week to week for Season 2 of Severance,” he said. “Also, The Pitt is a fantastic new series. There has been a lot of good TV this spring. I feel pretty lucky; those are some incredible shows.”

On the best thing about being his age, he said, “Understanding a lot of things I thought were important don’t matter. I can be more relaxed and not take things so seriously, and enjoy myself a little more.”

His favorite sport to watch is “hockey.” “I watch hockey; that’s my sport! I love it. I don’t really play it,” he said.

His favorite cheat meal is “pizza.” “I make pizza and that’s my favorite. It’s very satisfying.”

His favorite motto to live by is “Amor fati.” “Love your fate,” he said. “No matter what the cards are or what is dealt to you, embrace it and love it. Play every card as if it’s the one you wanted,” she said.
How Eric Johnson Unwinds
His favorite hobby is "cooking." “I love to cook; it’s a great creative outlet for me. I enjoy feeding people, so my favorite thing is to cook for other people and be creative in the kitchen,” he explained.
Dream Acting Partners
He listed Kate Winslet as his dream acting partner. “Kate is phenomenal,” he said. “I don’t think I’ve ever seen her in anything where I didn’t dream of being her scene partner.”
“To be a scene partner with Kate would be an absolute gift,” he added.
If Eric Could Have a Superpower it Would Be...
Regarding his superpower of choice, he shared, “I really want to fly. That would be fun!”

On the best advice he has ever been given, he revealed, “Remember that every day is different.” “That is great advice for parents as their kids are growing up,” he said.
