Feel Good Interview Series: Emmy-Award Winner Michael Park of "As The World Turns" and Broadway - 10 Things to Know About Him

Michael Park is known for his acting work as Jack Snyder on the daytime drama "As the World Turns," as well as for playing Larry Murphy in "Dear Evan Hansen" on Broadway, as well as reporter Tom Holloway in Season 3 of "Stranger Things." Park won two consecutive Daytime Emmy Awards for "Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series" for playing Jack Snyder on "As the World Turns."
In addition, he won a Grammy for "Best Musical Theater Album" and a Daytime Emmy for "Outstanding Musical Performance in a Daytime Program" for "Dear Evan Hansen." 
Most recently, he starred opposite Tony winner Idina Menzel in the musical "Redwood" on Broadway.

His favorite cheat meal is “pizza.” “Anybody who doesn’t answer pizza is lying,” he admitted.

His favorite mottos to live by include “being nice costs absolutely nothing,” and “always more, never less.”

On his favorite sports, he responded, “To play is golf and I would watch golf. To watch right now, is Liverpool Football Club.”
What Michael Park Says is the Best Thing About Being his Age
On the best thing about being his age, he remarked, “Getting to play Finn in ‘Redwood,’ and have a very healthy and loving family.”

On the title of the current chapter of his life, Park revealed, “The people we’ve lost are the heart of the living.”

His hobbies — to unwind and relax — include watching golf and binge-watching TV shows. “We’ve been spoiled with watching TV shows now,” he said.

On his dream acting partners, he shared, “I would love to go toe to toe with my good friends Nick Jonas and Jonathan Tucker in a show. That would be an absolute blast.”
Michael Park's Definition of Success
Park furnished his definition of success. “Success means a healthy family and healthy children,” Park revealed. “Also, making sure that my mother and my in-laws are looked after.”
