Feel Good Interview Series: Get to Know Actor/Musician Constantine Maroulis Of American Idol, Rock of Ages and More ... 6 Things to Know About this Tony-Nominated Performer

Constantine Maroulis is a Greek-American actor, rock singer, and "American Idol" alum. He finished in sixth place in Season 4 of "American Idol," and he subsequently scored a Tony nomination for "Best Performance by a Leading Actor in a Musical" for "Rock of Ages" on Broadway. 
He also starred in "Jekyll and Hyde" on Broadway, where he played the lead roles, and for which he earned a Drama League Award nomination for "Distinguished Performance."
On January 15, 2024, he performed in the vampire rock popera musical "Blood/Love" at Joe's Pub in New York City. He shares six interesting things about him.
Constantine's Favorite Movies 
“I am a movie buff,” Maroulis admitted. “Lately, I just saw ‘Maestro’ and I thought it was a masterpiece. ‘Napoleon’ was enjoyable and watchable. I loved the scale of it, and I thought that the battle scenes were incredible. ‘Oppenheimer’ was incredible as well. These are the movies that I have been digging into lately.” 
Favorite Series to Binge-watch 
He listed “The Sopranos,” “The Crown,” and the Dutch series “Ferry: The Series” (the prequel of “Undercover”) as his favorite series to binge. “I am in the re-watch phase of all the HBO classics,” he said. ‘I just re-watched ‘The Sopranos,’ and I found it brilliant. ‘The Crown’ is just so good! ‘Ferry’ is like ‘The Sopranos’ meets ‘Breaking Bad’.” 
His Favorite Cheat Meal 
He listed “pizza” as his favorite cheat meal, and he noted that he loves his sweets, which include the Greek pastry “baklava,” especially when it is “well-made.” 
His Favorite Sports to Watch and to Play 
He noted that his favorite sport to play is “baseball.” “I loved playing baseball growing up, and I enjoy softball now,” he said. “I love being out there with people and my friends.” 
“I am a big sports fan. I enjoy watching basketball and American football,” Maroulis added. “I love being a sports dad because my daughter is involved with soccer, volleyball, and tennis.

If Constantine Mauroulis Could Have a Superpower........
“Time travel would be my superpower of choice,” he said. “That would be cool. I would love to travel back in time and go back to some incredible eras and civilizations, whether it is Ancient Greece or the Mayas.” 
Dream Duet Choices 
In the dream duet choices department, Maroulis revealed that he would love to someday sing with Bono and Stevie Nicks.
