Carly Blaney- So You Think You Can Dance, Huh?: Jersey Girl Hits the Top Twenty on Popular Fox Show and Voting Opens Soon

Carly Blaney of Wyckoff NJ really can dance! This Jersey girl is strutting her stuff on Fox's immensely popular dance competition, So You Think You Can Dance. Carly made it to to the Top Twenty, no surprise for this dance champion, and will be entering the live competition starting tonight on Fox 5 here in the New York area. 

 Carly, age 20, grew up in Wyckoff, NJ. She trained at Studio L in Waldwick.  She is currently a student at Arizona State University where she is a member of the Sun Devil Cheering Squad.

A longtime friend, Carole Jankowitz of Mahwah, who has been watching Carly dance since she was a kid, says, "Watching Carly mature into the dancer that she is today has been an exciting journey. She is a technically proficient dancer that never fails to wow me on stage. Off stage, she is a fabulous young lady with a tremendous heart and her passion for dance shines thru in all of her being. This journey is a long time goal of hers and I couldn’t be happier for her to have this opportunity to show America that She Knows She Can Dance! My entire family, co-workers at Bimini Bay Outfitters (where her mom Liz is a member of our team) and friends will be cheering her on as we are mesmerized by her performance this evening, and upcoming Wednesday nights as well."
